AN ACT CONCERNING COVERAGE FOR DENTAL FILLINGS BASED ON THE MATERIALS USED.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 700c of the general statutes be amended to require each insurer that provides dental benefits to cover nonmercury fillings to the same extent as mercury fillings.

Statement of Purpose:

To require insurers that provides dental benefits to cover nonmercury fillings to the same extent as mercury fillings.
