You asked for a table of comparable hunting and fishing fees in all states from Maine to Ohio to Maryland to West Virginia.
SUMMARY
Hunting and fishing fees vary considerably by state. Fishing licenses range from $20 to $80 for non-residents and from $8.50 to $40 for residents in Delaware and Connecticut, respectively. Resident hunting licenses range from $18 in West Virginia and Rhode Island to $28 in Connecticut. Non-resident hunting licenses range from $45 in Rhode Island to $135.50 in New Jersey. Certain jurisdictions, like New York, sell the majority of their fees in sportsmen packages and therefore are not comparable to the other licenses. Table 1 shows selected comparable fees in the different jurisdictions.
