AN ACT CONCERNING YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU FUNDING.

    Be it enacted  by  the Senate and House of Representatives in
General Assembly convened:
    That section  17a-40(b)  be  amended  to  provide  additional
funding to the  department  of  children  and  youth  services to
increase funds provided to municipal youth service bureaus.


STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  To  increase  funding  for municipal youth
services bureaus which  provide direct counseling and services to
at risk youth.
